Founded in 2002, San Diego Cooperative Charter School serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in English, math, social studies and science. It also offers student programs related to Spanish, music, art and physical education. San Diego Cooperative Charter School also participates in the California Standardized Testing and Reporting program (STAR). In addition, the school has a parent-staff association that offers volunteer services, as well as organizes fundraising events. The school is located in San Diego. San Diego Cooperative Charter School is a part of the San Diego Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools, as well as alternative education centers.
