      General Info
      Luke Hiller, MD, is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in musculoskeletal disorders and breast diseases. As a radiologist, he treats injury and disease in the body through diagnostic imaging tests and interventional procedures that involve the use of X-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound. Dr. Hiller describes his professional mission as fourfold: to provide the highest standard of patient care; to mentor trainees to the best of his ability; to perform significant, meaningful research; and to remain truly passionate about medicine.As an academic radiologist at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Hiller instructs medical students, residents, radiology fellows, radiographic technologists and sonographers. His research interests include musculoskeletal and breast pathology.He has published articles in numerous international medical journals, including Skeletal Radiology, Journal of Orthopaedic Research and The Spine Journal. Dr. Hiller speaks at medical conferences regarding musculoskeletal diseases with a particular focus on knee pathology. Dr. Hiller completed his musculoskeletal imaging and breast imaging fellowships, as well as his radiology residency, at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his combined medical degree and Master of Science in biomedical engineering from UC Davis. Dr. Hiller is board-certified in diagnostic radiology.He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging.Outside of work, Dr. Hiller enjoys spending time with family and friends. He stays active through soccer, Brazilian jiu jitsu and surfing.
