Jake Fleming, DO, is an osteopathic physician and board-certified family medicine doctor who provides care for patients of all ages, and helps people adopt lifestyle changes aimed at disease prevention. He has a whole-body approach to medicine and is highly experienced in musculoskeletal medicine and manual medicine techniques to diagnose and treat restrictions in the body that contribute to pain and disease. Dr. Fleming completed his residency training at UC San Diego School of Medicine and earned his degree in osteopathic medicine at Western University in Pomona, California. While there, he also served as a pre-doctoral teaching fellow in osteopathic manipulation and earned a master's degree in health science. During his undergraduate education, he studied exercise physiology and kinesiology at the University of Colorado and was valedictorian of the Kinesiology Department. He is board-certified in family medicine.Dr. Fleming was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Calif. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese and enjoys surfing, traveling and spending time with his son, Tiago.
