      Culture Shock Dance Center takes great pride in having the most comprehensive and diverse urban dance program in Southern California. We have assembled a professional teaching staff that represents the most cutting edge urban dance styles. Culture Shock Dance Center is proud to be the home of the world famous hip hop dance troupes Culture Shock, Future Shock, Mighty Shock, and Mini Shock, as well as Frenemies, Cookies, 220, and SGBM. Our adult classes are continuous and ongoing so students may start classes at any time. Youth classes are taught in 8 or 9 week sessions, with registration being required.       Culture Shock is the best studio I have found! The instructors are great, they offer a wide variety of dance forms, the floors are wonderful, and it is airconditioned! They have all of this, an international reputation, and still have reasonable class prices! I have had my son both in hip hop classes and in their summer camps for kids. My only regret is that there is no jazz for kids. Their touring groups are excellent! Culture Shock was started here in San Diego but is now has studios across the country and overseas. Their goal is to promote acceptance of diversity through the art of dance. You are welcome there, regardless of your level of skill, from beginner to advanced, they have a class to challenge you.
