COVID-19 Update: Bernardo Winery is open Wednesday - Sunday for wine, food & shopping. Reservations required for onsite wine and food, reserve on our website. Bernardo Winery is the oldest continuously operating Winery in Southern California, and located in North County San Diego. Family owned and operated since 1927, the winery is still producing wines with San Diego grapes as it has been for over 100 years. Varietals include Syrah, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Viognier, Sangiovese, Albarino and Chardonnay to name a few. Besides a tasting room with daily wine tasting, the winery grounds are home to over a dozen unique shops and artisan galleries, The Kitchen Restaurant, as well private event areas for every occasion. the rustic architecture, gardens and antique equipment at the winery also make it a unique trip back in time into California ranch and wine-making history. Please note: Families are welcome!
