I'm going to be completely honest in my review of Dr. Hyatt and his dental practice, hie performed a root canal on me and the work he did was absolutely amazing! I went to him because a family member of mine worked at his office as a dental assistant and she was new in the field so I wanted to support her. This is the only reason he took special care when doing the work he did on me. I should have known better. My family member had told me that she would never trust Dr. Hyatt to do work on her after my procedure was finished, which of course made me a little upset but luckily he took his time with me so I wasn't up in arms over the stories she told me about how he has on many occasions cracked or broken teeth of patience while doing routine work and lied to the patience saying that when he got deeper in there he realized he needed to put a cap on the tooth because there was more damage than he thought for instance. What bothers me is he would make the mistake, lie about it, and charge for the extra work ultimately making him more money. The office Manager: I have interacted many times with the office manager at Dr. Hyatt's office and I will say that she is unprofessional, disorganized, and has no business handling a sock puppet let alone cash and insurance claims. I paid $500 out of pocket and additionally had my insurance billed another $1,000 not to mention the $500 that was billed to my insurance for the routine check up that led to my root canal. I was fine with this because of how great the work he did was. Dr. Hyatt and the office manager stated that I was paid in full and that everything was good. Where I should have known better is there is always a catch with this guy and his swindling money hungry 2 faced practice. 3 years later: My family member stopped working there and coincidentally I see a blemish on my credit report in the form of a collection account. The amount is a mere $248 with no explanation and without reaching out to me. Spineless move Dr. Hyatt and even more ridiculous that you would hinder my time over money that I don't owe you and you don't have the courage to call me or anything. That's because you are cooking your books my friend. My paperwork for the work states paid in full and these unprofessional blood suckers want to waste my mere $248 with no explanation and without reaching out to me. When you run a practice taking care of your patience goes further than scraping scale off their teeth. You have to have decent customer service too. As patience you have to care about us but I see that you take advantage of your patience and their insurance companies by adding costs to work you did years ago so you can stay rich. My advice: If you want to be taken advantage of and don't care about professionals that cover up their mistakes and treat you like an ATM Then go to Dr. Hyatt and let this wolf in a lab coat fool you.
